Hauptsturmführer Michael Wittmann and his Tiger crew. The soldier with the Knights Cross is his gunner, Rottenführer Balthasar Woll. He was on August 8, 1944 (the day Wittmann and his crew died) in recovery at a military hospital and survived the war. Woll died in 1996.
