Jocassee Dam Construction 1970. The Jocassee facility is apart of the Keowee-Toxaway project of which includes the 2,554 megawatt Oconee Nuclear Power Plant, the downstream 154 megawatt Lake Keowee conventional hydro facility and 800 megawatt Jocassee pumped storage facility shown below.
