Simple visual difference between super 8 and regular 8. Super 8 advanced to smaller sprockets giving a larger picture area & less grainy image. We're able to overscan and sometimes see hidden images between sprocket holes on regular 8 that you wouldn't see in projection www.framediscreet.com
