The crown of the Kingdom of Greater Romania, forged out of gun steel rather than silver. The steel was that of Ottoman cannons captured in the Romanian War of Independence, and it was used in the coronation of King Carol I, who chose steel to symbolise the bravery of Romanian soldiers.
