This is the Avogadro Project. It aims to make the world’s roundest circle. It is made of crystal silicon. It can be compared to silicon spheres that occur naturally and are so round you’d think they’re unnatural. It costs about 3.2 million dollars and were handcrafted by a master lens maker.
