A starfish fungus beginning to open after it emerged from its "egg". They are a variety of stinkhorn fungi, which release a stinky slime flies love to eat. As the flies eat the corpse scented slime, they cover themselves in spores. The spores later fall off the flies and create new starfish fungi.
