Before being Deputy Chief Engineer at Chernobyl, Anatoly Dyatlov was posted to the Lenin Komsomol shipyard as head of Labratory 23 where he managed a team of twenty men who installed the reactors of the Yankee- and Victor-class submarines (1959-1973)
