Hi, so I know nothing about rats. My best friend has a pet snake she feeds live rodents to. She kept this one and I decided to adopt it. I read that feeder rats are more likely to carry diseases, but aren’t they all? How can you prevent the spread—if at all—and is it a bad idea to keep a feeder rat?
