My grandfather, a Sergeant Major in the South Vietnamese Army, 1963. He enlisted in 1950, served in the Vietnam National Army to fight Viet Minh. Grandpa was killed in the first attack of Tet Offensive. He would be discharged in the same year if Tet Offensive didn’t happen and became a civilian.
