Our Great Great Uncle William Goodwin. He was only 25 when he died. He flew in at D-day and the glider hit an anti landing obstacle and his co pilot was killed. The British were trapped for 9 days and he died on the 8th. My parents are the only family to visit his grave. Wanted to share this.
