The iconic photo of The Doors on the cover of their debut album was created by Guy Webster in late 1966. Contrary to popular belief, the “Young Lion” photos were not taken at the same time. Those photos were shot by Joel Brodsky in late summer 1967 during a photoshoot for the Strange Days album.
