The wreck of the U-Boat HMT Olympic rammed after it tried to torpedo and sink her in the English Channel on the 12th of May, 1918. During the encounter, Olympic's gunners immediately opened fire, and she turned, ramming the sub, which immediately crash dived to 98 feet and turned a parallel course.
